LAHORE  – Early on Sunday, Lahore and its surrounding areas were battered by intense monsoon rain, which flooded low-lying areas and interrupted the power supply.

Numerous locations in the city, including Davies Road, Upper Mall, Abbot Road, Lakshmi Chowk, Qartaba Chowk, Shimla Pahari, and several others, reported seeing rain.

The rainy spell that fell in numerous sections of Lahore and the surrounding areas gave the weather-beaten residents some relief.

Rain caused several Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO) feeders to trip, leaving the majority of the city in complete darkness and causing power disruptions in several areas of the city.
