After four people were murdered and over 180 injured in forest fires in Turkey, Turkish actress Esra Bilgic alias Halime Sultan is in “indescribable grief.”
Esra, who plays Halime Sultan in the historical drama series Dirilis: Ertugrul, took to Twitter to express her grief, writing in Turkish, “I am in unspeakable despair.” We are unprepared for any catastrophe.”
“Why did you wait until today to impose the forest entrance bans? Why aren’t we able to do something about it?” Following a prohibition on entrance to woods in Zmir and Balkesir due to flames in Turkey, Esra stated.
Thousands of firemen battled massive blazes sweeping over the Mediterranean tourist districts of Turkey’s southern coast on Thursday, killing four people and injuring more than 180.
An inquiry has already been begun, according to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
