The country’s greatest laser light show was staged at Minar-e-Pakistan on Pakistan Day, guided by Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif.
For the first time in this magnificent ceremony, the people who delivered the Pakistan Resolution at Manto Park were honored with a light show.

Late at night, Minar-e-Pakistan was lighted up with green and white lights, producing a beautiful sight from afar. During the laser light display, the monument was illuminated with pictures of the crescent, star, and national flag, with every section burning brightly.
The architectural design of Minar-e-Pakistan was enhanced with laser lights, which highlighted its star-shaped base and added to its constructional brilliance.

The surrounding laser lights captivated the audience, and a big crowd came to watch this historic event.

Other historical monuments in Lahore, including the Lahore Fort, Museum, Punjab Assembly, and GPO, were also lighted with green lights, creating a stunning picture of the national flag’s motif.

The crowd applauded Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif for organizing the beautiful light show and expressed gratitude for giving the highest homage to Pakistan on this national day.

Citizens commented on how the shimmering lights at Minar-e-Pakistan produced a dream-like atmosphere, as if a procession of brilliant green and white stars was forming on the horizon.

On Sunday, the nation commemorates Pakistan Day with a fresh determination to converting the country into an Islamic welfare state, as Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah envisioned.

The day commemorates the Lahore Resolution, passed on March 23, 1940, which established a distinct homeland for Muslims in the Subcontinent.

The celebrations began with a 31-gun salute in Islamabad and 21-gun salutes in the provincial capitals. Following Fajr, special prayers were given for the nation’s advancement and prosperity.

This year’s Pakistan Day parade was conducted in Aiwan-e-Sadr rather than its usual location at Shakarparian Parade Ground.
