The Balochistan administration has prohibited midnight traffic on critical national routes throughout the province, according to notices issued by deputy commissioners from several districts.
The directions ban traffic between 6 p.m. and 6 a.m. on numerous vital highways, including Sibi Road, Zhob-Dera Ismail Khan Road, Coastal Highway, Quetta-Taftan Highway, and Loralai-Dera Ghazi Khan Highway.

The limitation was implemented by notices from the deputy commissioners of Kachhi, Zhob, Gwadar, Nushki, and Musakhail, who cited security concerns and the need to safeguard tourists’ safety.

The action follows a series of recent events, including a suicide bombing at a Balochistan National Party-Mengal (BNP-M) rally at Lak Pass in Mastung.

In a second incident last week, terrorists murdered at least eight people, including four laborers and four police officers, in Kalat and Noshki districts.

Furthermore, five passengers were killed two days ago after armed men stopped a Karachi-bound bus in Gwadar’s Kalmat district and forcibly removed the victims before executing them.

Another big strike attacked a paramilitary convoy on the Nushki-Dalbandin route, killing five persons and injuring 35 others.

The security situation deteriorated further when terrorists from the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) attacked the Jaffar Express. The assailants blew up a railway track, kidnapped over 440 passengers, and engaged security forces in a lengthy confrontation.

A clearance operation by security officers resulted in the deaths of 33 insurgents and the release of hostages. However, 26 people died, including 18 security officers, three railroad and government officials, and five civilians.

Additionally, three FC soldiers were murdered in an attack on a security checkpoint before to the train ambush.
