ISLAMABAD: Dr. Moeed Yusuf, Pakistan’s National Security Adviser, went on an official visit to the United States on Tuesday.

Dr Yusuf has left on a visit to the United States to evaluate progress on bilateral engagement, according to a statement released by Prime Minister House.

The national security advisor will meet with his American colleague Jake Sullivan and other top officials during his visit.

According to the announcement, his visit is part of high-level bilateral activities between the two nations. Dr. Yusuf will also meet with other US politicians, the Pakistani community in the United States, think tanks, and other organisations.

The national security adviser voiced worry about the present state of affairs in Afghanistan, adding, “It is not good.”

Yusuf was replying to a query regarding the prime minister’s recent remarks during an interview with a US television station. Biden had not talked to PM Khan since taking office as president, according to Khan.
