QUETTA — Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Kamal has announced his resignation as president of the Balochistan Awami Party (BAP).
Jam Kamal requested BAP central organiser Jan Jamali and general secretary BAP Manzoor Kakar to meet and declare BAP party elections as soon as possible in a message on Twitter.
“Alhamdulillah, I spent a good three years as party president and surrender my party presidency today,” Jam Kamal stated.
Jam Kamal stated that it has been an honour for him to serve as the party’s first president, and that the BAP has demonstrated tremendous democratic ideals and room for all of its members. No other party has as much freedom as BAP, which allows everyone to freely voice their opinions, recommendations, and critiques.
“Inshallah, this party will develop in Balochistan, and I am extremely hopeful that its youth and new members will strengthen its foundation, and that opportunists will gradually leave its ranks, allowing it to flourish and progress,” Jam Kamal added.
