ISLAMABAD, Pakistan – A contempt of court petition against National Accountability Bureau (NAB) head Justice (r) Javed Iqbal was rejected by the Supreme Court on Monday.

The case was heard by a three-member court led by Justice Umar Ata Bandial.

During the hearing, the Supreme Court stated that the appeal against the head of the anti-corruption agency is inadmissible.

The suit was filed against federal minister Khusru Bakhtiar for failing to complete an investigation.
