ISLAMABAD – Fawad Chaudhry, the Federal Minister of Information and Broadcasting, stated on Friday that after Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), every household in Punjab will be eligible for health cards.

The minister stated in a tweet on the social networking site Twitter that each year Rs1 million will be distributed to households through health cards. He stated that this game-changing policy will ensure that low- and middle-income individuals receive high-quality medical care.

Fawad Chaudhry further stated that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) administration is providing significant help to the ordinary public in the areas of health, education, and food.

Earlier, the minister stated that grain and sugar costs have been steadily dropping, and that the price of sugar will continue to fall with the start of the crushing season.

He told the media following the PTI core committee meeting that PTI leadership from Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Sindh were present.

Prime Minister Imran Khan discussed the problem and instructed the party leadership to begin a public relations campaign. Schedules for local government elections should be released in cities and districts, according to the prime minister.

PM Imran Khan presided over a discussion about the Ehsas programme before the core committee meeting, according to Fawad Chaudhry, and urged quick efforts to offer assistance to the middle class.
