On Wednesday, Saudi Ambassador to Pakistan Nawaf bin Saeed Al Maliki met with Federal Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid and reviewed bilateral ties as well as mutual interests.
According to a statement released here, they also reviewed plans for the Saudi Interior Minister’s upcoming visit to Pakistan next month.
Sheikh Rashid expressed his gratitude to the Saudi Interior Minister for visiting Pakistan. He noted that the Saudi Interior Minister’s visit will strengthen Pak-Saudi bilateral ties.
He stated that the visit will further extend and enhance the friendly relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. He expressed the expectation that the bilateral deal between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia will be signed during his visit. He stated that a mutual agreement will aid the early release of Pakistani inmates held in Saudi Arabia.
He stated that Pakistan and Saudi Arabia were two brotherly countries with mutual trust and friendship.
The Ambassador emphasised the need of increasing tourism and trade between the two nations. He went on to say that the Saudi people have a lot of love for Pakistan.
