For the General Elections of 2023 and Local Body Elections, the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has decided to draught a new code of conduct.
According to reports, discussions on the Elections Amendment Ordinance addressing revisions to the code of conduct will also take place. The ECP has begun work on a new code of conduct and has extended invitations to all parliamentary parties for a meeting on March 8 at 2 p.m., led by the Chief Election Commissioner, to consult on the topic.
