The Ukrainian armed forces’ general staff stated on Sunday that more than 11,000 Russian servicemen had been killed since Moscow started an invasion of Ukraine on February 24.
It had estimated the number of Russian casualties at around 10,000 just a day before. There were no injuries in Ukraine, according to the report.
Meanwhile, Russia used long-range high-precision missiles to strike and cripple Ukraine’s Starokostiantyniv military air base, according to Russia’s defence ministry.
“Russian armed forces continue to assault Ukraine’s military facilities,” said Igor Konashenkov, a spokesperson for the Russian defence ministry.
