ISLAMABAD – In the midst of rising political tensions in the country following the opposition’s submission of a no-confidence resolution against Prime Minister Imran Khan, agitated workers of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) barged into Sindh House on Friday after smashing the main gate.
This comes only hours after PTI workers protested outside Sindh House in the federal capital’s Red Zone neighbourhood.

PTI workers staged a sit-in outside Sindh House. As people smashed down the gate and poured into the Sindh House, the rally got violent.

Faheem Khan, a PTI MNA from Karachi who was also present at the rally outside the Sindh House, stated that the people voted for them because of Imran Khan and that the deserters were traitors.

He also threatened dissident members of the governing PTI who were residing inside Sindh House.

PTI MNA Attaullah Khan stated that the angry PTI members were elected because of Imran Khan, and that the ruling party’s workers will go after prospective deserters.

He stated the deserters should return and apologise to the Prime Minister, and that if they have any problems, they should quit and run for office.
