ISLAMABAD, Pakistan – Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan has made a passionate plea to the whole country to come out and attend his meeting on Sunday in Islamabad to send a message that they oppose horse trafficking.
In a video message released on Thursday, he stated that a certain clique has been stealing and plundering our country for the last thirty years, and that they are now openly using the plundered money to buy the conscience of public officials. He further argued that this is a heinous act against democracy and the nation.
According to the Prime Minister, God Almighty also commands in the Holy Quran to support the virtuous and despise the evil. He stated that the country should make it known to those purchasing legislators’ consciences that they are opposed to this behaviour so that no one may harm democracy by horse dealing.
