On Monday, the price of 24 carat per tola gold dropped by Rs 550 and was sold for Rs 131,350, down from Rs 131,900 the day before on the local market.
According to the All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association, the price of 10 gramme 24 karat gold dropped by Rs472 to Rs 112,611 from Rs 113,083, while the price of 10 gramme 22 karat gold dropped to Rs 103,227 from Rs 103,659
The price of silver per tola and every ten gramme stayed unchanged at Rs1510 and Rs1294.58, respectively.
The price of gold on the international market fell by $26 and was exchanged at US$1932 against a sale price of US$58, according to the association.
