Following the change in administration at the centre, the government dismissed Fayyaz Ahmed Dev from his position as Lahore Capital City Police Officer (CCPO).

Fayyaz Ahmed Dev has been told to report to the Establishment Division.

According to a notification issued in this respect, Fayyaz Ahmed Dev, a BS-21 officer of the Pakistan Police Service now serving under the Government of Punjab, has been moved and told to report to the Establishment Division, with immediate effect and until further order.
