During an intense firefight in the general area Isham of North Waziristan district on Wednesday, a Pakistan Army soldier embraced martyrdom while valiantly fighting terrorists.
According to Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), on April 13, a gunbattle erupted between army troops and terrorists in the general area of Isham. During the gunfight, the troops effectively engaged the terrorists.
During the intense exchange of fire, 28-year-old Sepoy Asmatullah Khan, a resident of Mianwali, fought gallantly and embraced Shahadat (martyrdom), it was added.
According to the ISPR, “sanitization of the area is being carried out in order to eliminate any terrorists found in the area.”
