Miftah Ismail, Federal Minister of Finance and Revenue, met with a group from the US-Pakistan Business Council in Washington on Friday.

The conference was also attended by Pakistan’s Ambassador, Secretary of Finance, and Governor of the SBP.

Miftah Ismail, speaking on the occasion, stated that Pakistan has a long and beneficial connection with the US corporate sector. The Finance Minister invited US firms to invest in several areas in Pakistan.

According to Miftah Ismail, recruiting foreign investment in all areas is a primary goal for the current government. He stated that the administration is working hard to create a welcoming climate for international investment.
