During his visit to Pakpattan, Punjab Chief Minister Hamza Shahbaz Sharif lay a floral wreath at the shrine of Hazrat Baba Fareed-ud-Din Masood Ganj Shakar (RA).

In Masjid-e-Aulia, he also prayed for the country’s welfare and prosperity and offered Nawafil.

Hamza Shahbaz, speaking on the occasion, stated that the essence of Sufi saints’ teachings was to promote brotherhood, unity, and tolerance. He stated that when Islam spread across the Indo-Pak subcontinent through Sufi saints and religious leaders, it was necessary to support their traditions.
