KARACHI : General Asim Munir, Chief of the Army Staff (COAS), said on Saturday in Karachi that terrorists have no theological or ideological foundations, just incorrect beliefs imposed via pressure or seduction.

According to Inter-Services Public Relations, the army commander made these statements during his visit to the city, when he arrived on Friday evening to meet with the wounded victims of the assault on the Karachi Police Headquarters.

Four persons, including two police officers and a ranger, were killed and 18 were wounded when terrorists stormed the well guarded office of law enforcement officials situated on Karachi’s major thoroughfare, Sharea Faisal.
