WASHINGTON (Web desk) – Congressman Brad Sherman of the United States House of Representatives said that Imran Khan was tough to work with in the US, but Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif was positive.

Sherman said in the House of Representatives that some individuals claimed that Pakistan’s pro-American administration made good relations simple.

He said that the Supreme Court directed that elections be conducted in Punjab first, followed by other provinces. The congressman stated, “I believe the Supreme Court’s order is final and non-appealable, and the Supreme Court’s order to release funds is required for provincial elections.”

According to Brad Sherman, America does not stand for any policy, power, or government, but rather for democracy and the rule of law. The American government supports human rights and free speech.

He expressed worry over actual proof of disappearances, violations of human rights, and torture. He said that he wanted Pakistan to have human rights, democracy, and the rule of law.
