The officer who detained Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan in a narcotics case has been charged by India’s Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).

According to CBI authorities, a charge has been filed against anti-narcotics officer Sameer Wankhede for allegedly seeking INR 25 crore as a bribe for failing to apprehend Aryan Khan in the cruise drug case two years ago.

Wankhede and other authorities reportedly wanted a payment of Rs 25 crore in exchange for not indicting Aryan Khan in the narcotics case.
