The Group of Seven (G7) industrial nations and the European Union would prohibit Russian gas imports on routes where Moscow has restricted supply, according to the Financial Times, citing sources participating in the talks.
The agreement, which will be formalised by G7 leaders at a summit in Hiroshima beginning on Friday, will prohibit Russia from resuming pipeline gas deliveries to countries such as Poland and Germany, where Moscow shut off supplies last year, according to the newspaper.
