Pak Suzuki Motor Company Ltd. (PSMCL), the country’s largest producer of light trucks and cars, pleaded with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif not to impose “new duties and taxes” in the upcoming budget for 2023–24, citing its struggles and setbacks as a result of “economic uncertainties.”

The auto assembly firm, according to information, wrote a letter to Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif outlining its “struggles and losses owing to economic uncertainty in the country.

Shafiq Ahmed Shaikh, the head of public relations at Pak Suzuki Motor, disclosed that the company’s first quarter losses of $12.9 billion were a result of severe economic uncertainty.
