ISLAMABAD (APP): To enhance the pilgrim experience and the duties of ministry personnel, Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance has established a number of electronic services.

A Sharia awareness app is one of the services that informs pilgrims about Hajj customs and provides a translation if the pilgrim needs assistance in a language other than Arabic.

A “Rushd” application that integrates with an e-library is made to disseminate trustworthy e-books.

A new electronic transaction platform, reports management, and a “virtual workspace” for ministry workers are among the features offered.

Sheikh Abdullatif bin Abdulaziz Al-Asheikh, minister of Islamic affairs, stated: “The ministry seeks to implement all digital transformation standards in accordance with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.”
