After jumping into the Motra River on the third day of Eid, defence minister Khawaja Asif quickly gained popularity on social media.

Senior leader of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), Khawaja Asif, demonstrated his outstanding swimming abilities by scaling the side railing of a bridge in the middle of a sweltering heat wave.

People came nearby to watch Khawaja Asif’s prodigious swimming and to continue filming him. Some even joined him in the river to swim after being inspired by him.
