LUGO: The Philippines won the 2023 World Cup of Pool 9-Ball Championship for a record fourth time when team Germany was defeated 11-7 by the team of Johann Chua and James Aranas.

In the mega-event final between the Philippines and Germany, Chua and Aranas of the Philippines won decisively 11-7 over the German team, which included Moritz Neuhausen and Joshua Filler, in the Best of 21 format.
