NEW DELHI: According to officials, India will host the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation on Tuesday. Iran is anticipated to join the Asian alliance, and Russian President Vladimir Putin will speak at the first meeting he has attended since a brief revolt.

China’s official media reported Along with the leaders of Central Asian nations, President Xi Jinping will also attend the televised summit of the eight-member SCO, which will be held in India since it currently holds the rotating chair but has its headquarters in Beijing.

Without providing any other information, the Kremlin said on Monday that Putin would attend and speak at the meeting.
