Acclaimed filmmaker Christopher Nolan focuses on J. Robert Oppenheimer for his new blockbuster picture, transporting audiences back to World War II, when the American theoretical physicist directed the development of the atomic bomb.

Based on the 2005 biography ‘American Prometheus’ by Kai Bird and Martin J. Sherwin, Christopher Nolan’s biological thriller ‘Oppenheimer’ stars Matt Damon, Robert Downey Jr., Emily Blunt, and Cillian Murphy in the title role, portraying the man known as ‘the father of the atomic bomb’.
