The initiative to find volunteers for the Olympic and Paralympic Games in Paris has been a spectacular success. According to the organising committee, more than 300,000 people have applied to contribute. Five potential volunteers who wanted to stand out at Paris 2024 spoke with FRANCE 24.

For the first Games in France in a century, thousands of volunteers from all around Europe have signed up to work at Paris 2024.

According to Tony Estanguet, president of the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games organising committee, “Every great champion is a volunteer.”
