Kanye West’s account on Musk’s X social media site has been restored

On Saturday, the social networking site X restored Kanye’s account, the musician formerly known as Kanye West, after it had been suspended nearly eight months prior for violating the platform’s policies against inciting violence.

Kan\ye’s last tweet on platform X, the new moniker owner Elon Musk has given Twitter, was published on December 1, a day before his account was suspended.

The Wall Street Journal reported on Saturday, citing X, that Ye won’t be able to monetize his account there and that ads won’t show up next to his posts.
