LAHORE, Pakistan — Following the revelation of the Lahore bomb on Friday, there was a looting incident at New Anarkali market.
According to reports, the detonation was followed by a fire and a stampede in the market’s Pan Mandi sector. In the same rush, there was a counter of a prize bonds vendor named Abdullah, 20 years old, with over Rs 3 hundred thousand on it.
Some folks were too busy taking money to aid the injured.
Police have initiated a hunt for the looters using CCTV video.
Earlier on Thursday, a time-device explosion in the Pan Mandi neighbourhood of Lahore’s New Anarkali market killed three people and wounded 29 others.
According to the data, emergency services arrived on the scene and transported the injured to Mayo Hospital.
The explosion broke the windows of surrounding stores and buildings, and motorbikes were damaged.
According to police, around 1.5 kg of explosives were utilised in the incident. It was also discovered that the explosives were placed on the ground between bikes.
According to preliminary reports, the explosion occurred around 1:40 p.m., levelled a structure, and destroyed eight motorbikes.
In an interview with the media, DIG operations stated that police teams are gathering evidence from the scene of the event and that the circumstances of the blast would be established soon.
According to Mayo Clinic authorities, four individuals are in serious condition, with specialists attempting to save their lives. Other injured persons have received first help from the medics.
Sardar Usman Buzdar, the Chief Minister of Punjab, was alerted to the explosion and requested a report from the Inspector General (IG) of Punjab.
