Ecuador would not accept deported migrants of other nations, the president declares.

QUITO (Reuters)- Ecuador’s President, Daniel Noboa, announced on Sunday that his country will not accept deported migrants of other nations.

Noboa, who will face socialist Luisa Gonzalez in a run-off election on April 13, told X that Ecuador will always absorb deported individuals from other countries because “we do not abandon our people.”
