Villagers in Azad Kashmir’s Jhelum Valley killed a rare type of leopard.
The leopard had made its way into the human population area of Sarai village in the Jhelum valley. While a lady and two others were brought to a nearby hospital with minor injuries from the animal’s attack.
Because the wildlife crew did not arrive in time, the leopard was captured by villagers. The uncommon species was tied with ropes and dragged about, killing it.
The leopard had been slain by the time the squad arrived, according to the Wildlife personnel. In Muzaffarabad, the animal’s postmortem had been finished. Following the report, more investigation will be carried out.
