After the trailer for Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone’s ’83 was out, self-proclaimed Indian critic Kamal R Khan posted a disgusting message.
The film, based on the life of Indian batsman Kapil Dev, is directed by Kabir Khan and has received critical acclaim for its blockbuster trailer. KRK, on the other hand, has discovered a bizarre resemblance between Deepika’s Romi Bhatia and PCB chairman Ramiz Raja.
On Thursday, KRK invited poked fun at the movie’s lead ensemble, comparing Deepika to former Pakistani cricketer Ramiz Raja.
“Kapil Dev and Rameez Raja look fantastic in this shot!” tweeted KRK, eliciting backlash from Kapil Dev supporters for the rude remark.
The film ’83 is based on the 1983 Cricket World Cup. Deepika Padukone also produces the film, which stars Tahir Raj Bhasin, Pankaj Tripathi, Saqib Saleem, Jatin Sarna, Ammy Virk, and Harrdy Sandhu.
