The Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan (MQM-P) said on Tuesday that it will not vote for a PTI candidate in the Senate election in Sindh, which will take place today (Wednesday).

According to sources, the decision was made a day before Prime Minister Imran Khan’s scheduled travel to Karachi, where he would meet with members of the MQM-P Rabita Committee in response to the opposition’s no-trust resolution.

According to sources, the MQM-P would abstain from voting in the Senate election. The Sindh Assembly will hold elections for the empty Senate seat.
