Pakistan has confirmed two fatalities in the previous 24 hours caused by a new coronavirus, bringing the total number of positive cases to 1,522,419 people. On Tuesday, the death toll in Pakistan reached 30,333.
According to the most recent National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) data, 228 people tested positive with COVID-19 in the last 24 hours.
In terms of fatalities, Punjab is the worst-affected province, followed by Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
So far, 13,551 people have died in Punjab, 8,092 in Sindh, 6,307 in KP, 1,022 in Islamabad, 792 in Azad Kashmir, 378 in Balochistan, and 191 in Gilgit Baltistan as a result of the outbreak.
