GWADAR: Prime Minister Imran Khan said on Monday that he was considering negotiating with Balochistan rebels because the situation in the province had improved and Pakistan was going toward a brighter future.
The premier, speaking at a Gwadar event, said that the rebels may be angry with the state because of past grievances, or that India may have employed them to sow terror in Pakistan.
“However, the situation has altered today,” he explained.
PM Imran Khan officiated at the opening of the Gwadar Free Zone, Expo Center, Agriculture Industrial Park, and three industries, as well as the signing of numerous memorandums of understanding for the construction of a state-of-the-art hospital, airport, and vocational institute.

After becoming Prime Minister, Imran Khan stated that his main goal was to not only win the elections but also to develop Balochistan.

Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif visited London 24 times but never travelled to Balochistan, according to the premier, while former President Asif Ali Zardari visited Dubai 51 times but never came to Gwadar.

“Anyone thinking about Pakistan would consider about Balochistan as well,” he added, “but if they want to win elections, they will concentrate on the Faisalabad division, which has more members in Parliament than Balochistan.”
