The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has postponed its decision on a disqualification appeal submitted against PTI leader Faisal Vawda.

A three-member panel chaired by Chief Election Commissioner Sikandar Sultan Raja heard the appeal filed in Islamabad against Vawda over his dual citizenship.
During the hearing, the Chief Election Commissioner responded to PPP leader Qadir Khan Mandokhel, who filed the petition,: “You stated that the closing arguments had been made. Do you wish to provide any further arguments or documents?”

This is the 30th hearing, according to Qadir Mandokhel. He stated that the commission has been issuing warnings for the past year and a half, and that the questions already brought to the commission should be addressed first, since he did not have any further reasons.

Sikandar Sultan Raja inquired whether or not the queries had been answered. “It is the commission’s responsibility to have the last say. This is the final time, “He said.
