The Islamabad High Court has scheduled a hearing on the motion to restore the chairman of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s right to defend himself in the Toshakhana case.
On August 10, Islamabad High Court Chief Justice Amir Farooq will hear the former prime minister’s request to restore his ability to defend himself.
In this context, the court has sent a notice to the Election Commission, requesting a response.
It should be noted that in the Toshakhana case, the trial court terminated the PTI chairman’s right to defend himself, and the trial court declared the PTI chairman’s list of witnesses irrelevant.
