ISLAMABAD – Following the passage of the Electoral Reforms Amendment Bill in the parliament’s joint session, the opposition has resolved to take the passed bills, notably Kalbhushan Jadhav, to court.

Speaking to media outside Parliament with PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, JUI-F leader Maulana Asad Mahmood, and others, PML-N President and Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif remarked, “Today is the darkest day in the history of the parliament.” “All of the bills were demolished. “The speaker did not pay attention to us at all,” he continued.

“We warned the speaker that you are abusing your position, and we believe three to four votes of government officials were counted incorrectly.” Maulana Asad and Bilawal Bhutto approached the speaker, but did not listen. I and Bilawal Bhutto worked hard, but the National Assembly speaker, Asad Qaiser, did not listen.”

Shehbaz Sharif went on to say that the electoral commission had rejected the EVMs. “A rigged government was established, and now they are putting EVMs on us, which we will not accept.” Because the opposition’s protest was ignored, the laws, including the election modification, would be contested in court.
