ISLAMABAD – The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has a history of manipulating judges, according to Prime Minister Imran Khan.
Under the presidency of Prime Minister Imran Khan, a meeting of government leaders was conducted. During the discussion, the topic of a former judge of Gilgit-affidavit Baltistan’s was discussed.
The meeting was informed on the legal aspects of the situation by Shahzad Akbar, Advisor to the Prime Minister on Interior and Accountability, and Barrister Ali Zafar.
According to Shahzad Akbar, the PML-N appears to be behind this scheme, and the objective of the affidavit is to make the charges against PML-N leaders contentious.
According to Barrister Zafar Ali, the PML-N should be charged in contempt of court for interfering with judicial procedures.
