According to the State Bank of Pakistan, the country’s total liquid foreign reserves are $18.55405 billion.
According to the SBP’s weekly statement released on Thursday, the State Bank’s foreign reserves held on March 25 were $12,047.3 million. Commercial banks held $6,507.2 million in net foreign reserves.
SBP reserves fell by $2,915 million to $12,047.3 million during the week ended March 25.
This drop reflects repayment of foreign debt, particularly a large syndicated lending facility from China. The rollover of this syndicated facility is currently being handled and is expected to be completed soon.
