LAHORE – The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) prohibited Khawar Maneka, Bushra Bibi’s ex-husband, from traveling overseas on Monday and turned him over to the Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE).

According to sources, Maneka was on his way to Dubai from the Allama Iqbal International Airport in Lahore when FIA personnel examined his credentials, held him for a short while, and then turned him over to the ACE.

The anti-corruption bureau has opened an investigation into Maneka.

They said Maneka was a government official who obtained the NOC to travel overseas but was denied entry due to his name being on the stop list.
