WASHINGTON (AP) — While briefing the media in Washington on Thursday, State Department spokesperson Matthew Miller stated that the US supports free and fair elections in Pakistan.
Matthew Miller stated: “We support free and fair elections and do not take a position one way or another.”
In response to a query, a State Department official stated that the United States does not support any kind of regime change. He stated that the US administration has replied to the charges several times since it does not advocate regime change.
According to Matthew Miller, the US regards Pakistan as a valuable partner with whom it collaborates on a variety of topics. That hasn’t changed, and it never will.
In response to a query on the murder of a Sikh leader in Canada, the spokeswoman stated that we have consistently spoken with the Indian government on this issue and pushed them to help with the Canadian inquiry.
