FEROZEWALA — Two people, including a lady, were murdered and one person was critically injured in a traffic accident in Ferozewala on Thursday night.

According to sources, the tragedy occurred in the Kot Abdul Malik region in Ferozewala when a recklessly driven truck collided with a motorbike, killing two people and injuring another.

After being notified, police and rescue services arrived on the scene and transported the deceased and injured to the hospital.

Road traffic accidents are widespread in Pakistan, making it one of the most dangerous countries. Pakistan has one of the worst records in the world for deadly traffic accidents, which have been blamed on inadequate roads, poorly maintained automobiles, and irresponsible driving.
