VEHARI (Channel News) – According to Channel News, three alleged thieves were injured and detained during a gunfight with police on Saturday.

Six thieves were allegedly stealing cash and valuables from bystanders after blocking a route in the Ludon police jurisdiction.

The cops arrived on the scene to apprehend the criminals. When the thieves saw the police party, they opened fire. Police effectively replied by silencing their firearms.

Following the skirmish, police enforcement scoured the area and discovered three injured robbers.

They were apprehended with plundered riches, weapons, and two stolen motorcycles. The detained criminals informed police that their three comrades had fled.
The police have begun their search and have taken the injured thieves to the hospital.
