KANDHKOT: On Wednesday a team of bandits ambushed a police roadblock in the Kacha region, killing a mobster and martyring two officers.

Details indicate that more than 20 criminals rushed the police checkpoint, killing two officers and injuring two more. Three bandits were hurt and one bandit was killed in the police party’s counterattack.

Afterwards, the group of dacoits left the area.

The deceased bandit was identified by SSP Bashir Brohi as Nazir Bhayo, who is the brother of bandit Khadu Bhayo.

He said that six days earlier, Nazir had taken part in the kidnapping of businesspeople.
