ISLAMABAD – The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has been given permission by the district administration of Islambad to host a public meeting (jalsa) on July 6 in Islamabad.
PTI filed a plea for a public gathering, and the Islamabad High Court (IHC) considered the petition.
State counsel told the court that the PTI was permitted to organise a public demonstration at Tarnol Chowk in Islamabad on July 6 by the Islamabad government.
After the NOC was issued, the IHC decided Amir Mughal’s plea.
However, Shoaib Shaheen, the PTI’s attorney, said the party had not been given enough time to prepare for a public assembly.
