ISLAMABAD: Seeking to mitigate the impact of the supreme court’s decision to grant the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) reserved seats and the negative reaction following the PTI’s declaration of its ban, the government chose to confer with its political ally, the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), on Friday.

Details indicate that the leaders of the Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) would be hosted at the President House for a consultative meeting on the subject, in which President Asif Ali Zardari will also participate.
