ISLAMABAD – The federal government agreed to the JI’s demand and released its employees on Sunday.
JI has announced that all of its leaders and employees have been released.
The JI held a sit-in to protest inflated electricity bills and price hikes, which is now in its fourth day.
Federal Information Minister Atta Tarar has stated that 35 JI personnel had been released, and that conversations with JI leaders were conducted in a peaceful environment.
He stated that the federal government has provided subsidies to individuals who use 200 electrical units.
